Archiving & deletion

Widget lifecycle

Archiving

Archiving marks a widget as archived. Once archived, the widget can no longer be edited and will no longer appear in your organization’s widget list unless a specific filter is applied. More importantly, if the widget was previously published, the archive action will also unpublish it. After archiving, the widget becomes inaccessible to your users.

This action is reversible — you can unarchive the widget at any time. Once unarchived, the widget becomes editable again and will reappear in the general list. However, please note that unarchiving does not automatically re-publish the widget. It will remain inaccessible to users until you explicitly publish it again.

Your plan includes a limited number of widgets. Archived widgets count toward this quota just like active ones. Archiving is mainly intended to help you declutter your workspace while retaining the ability to revisit a widget in the future. If you want to free up space for new widgets, consider deleting unused ones.

Deletion

A widget can only be deleted if it has already been archived. Once deleted, the widget is permanently removed from your account. Data associated with the widget (such as events and collected records) may remain accessible for a limited time via the API, but retention is not guaranteed and the data may be purged at any time. After deletion, the widget is no longer counted toward your quota.
