Subscriptions
Plans
A plan is associated with an organization and defines its usage quotas. For example, the Free plan allows the creation of only one widget, while the Team plan allows up to five. Plans are granted based on active subscriptions.
We currently offer the following plans:

Subscription
A subscription links a plan to an organization. When an organization has an active subscription, it inherits the quotas defined by the associated plan. The subscription agreement is made with the user who owns the organization. While the concept of an organization exists, Widged is a B2C product, and all contractual obligations are made with the user who is designated as the owner.
Only the organization owner has the right to manage the subscription.
WARNING
If ownership is transferred, the paid subscription will be canceled automatically, and the new owner must set up a new subscription in the end of paid period.
Subscriptions can be either free or paid. Every organization has an active Free subscription by default, which grants access to the Free plan. Paid subscriptions grant access to premium plans. Free subscriptions are automatically renewed. Paid subscriptions are renewed based on successful payment and may transition through several statuses, as described below.
Past Due Subscription
If we are unable to collect payment, your subscription status will change to Past Due. You will retain full access to your plan for a 2-week grace period. We will attempt to collect payment up to four times automatically. If payment is not successful by the end of the grace period, your organization's plan will be downgraded to Free.
Paused Subscription
You can pause your subscription by contacting us at care@widged.io. This is useful if you want to take a break but don’t want to lose your resources. While paused, you won’t be charged, and all your data (widgets, secrets, etc.) will be preserved. Published widgets will remain live. However, the organization will enter read-only mode — you will not be able to create or modify resources, and operations will be disabled. You can resume your subscription at any time.
Canceling a Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access to your current plan until the end of the paid billing period. After that, your plan will be downgraded to Free. If you change your mind, you can resume your subscription before the end of the current billing period.
Changing Plans
Plan changes take effect immediately. When upgrading, the prorated cost difference will be added to your next payment. When downgrading, the difference will be issued as credit and automatically applied to future payments.
